Our Story

Brad Hokamp has over 30 years of experience in information technology, primarily focused on the cloud, managed services, consulting, and data center industries. He has been a senior executive for mid-size to multi-billion-dollar service providers with a focus on driving high growth.

Prior to joining Contegix, Brad was the CEO of Anexinet, a designer and developer of digital business applications. Before Anexinet, he was the CEO of Cosentry, the Midwest regional leader in cloud, managed services and data center outsourcing, which was sold to Tierpoint in 2016. He also worked for Savvis (now owned by Century Link) for ten years, in senior sales and marketing executive leadership positions, with his last role as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Hosting and Data Center business unit.

Brad holds a BA degree from Vanderbilt University with a major in Economics. He loves to travel around the world and has explored many countries in six of the seven continents. His favorite family trip was a safari in South Africa.

Kim brings over 20 years of human resource and talent acquisition experience to the Contegix team. That experience is routed in both commercial and government contracting technology companies. Kim works closely with managers and employees to ensure compliance, provide HR solutions and create efficient processes. She started her career at an Association where she quickly learned the importance of building relationships, providing excellent customer service, and finding exceptional candidates.

While Kim enjoys all aspects of HR, her true passion lies in talent acquisition. She loves the challenge of finding the best candidate for a role and seeing them grow within the company.

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from High Point University, has a certification in Strategic Workforce Planning and is a member of SHRM. Outside of the office she loves spending time with family and friends as well as playing pickleball!

Michael Brown is an experienced and accomplished leader working with multiple Federal and Commercial clients providing process improvement, defining digital transformation strategy, and software development and implementation.

Prior to Contegix, Michael founded Ascend Integrated in 2013 providing world class professional services and tool implementation to Federal clients. The firm successfully grew to thirty employees and contractors. Ascend was acquired by Contegix in 2021, and continues to operate with Michael being the Senior Vice President of Professional Services, and President of Ascend.

Michael holds a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University and two BA’s in Information Systems and European History from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is a board member for the Cancer Research Institute, and also co-founded a movie production company.

Elizabeth is a multi-faceted marketing executive, with expertise in driving growth for innovative technology companies. She is responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for Contegix. With 20 years of experience in B2B marketing, Elizabeth has held leadership positions at companies of all sizes, from startups to large public corporations.

Prior to joining Contegix, Elizabeth was the Vice President of Demand Generation at MicroStrategy, an enterprise analytics software company. She was responsible for all global marketing programs with a heavy focus on digital channels, as well as marketing operations. Prior to MicroStrategy, she held leadership roles at SaaS companies Opower and Clarabridge, with Opower’s growth leading to an IPO in 2014.

Elizabeth holds a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia. She’s an avid runner, writer, social media influencer and traveler, and published the book Boston Bound about the psychology of marathon running.

Solomon brings 20+ years of technology leadership experience to the Contegix team in the Federal, Commercial, Non-Profit and Education sectors, primary in the managed services industry. Eight of those years have been with Contegix, leading in various capacities including Product Development, Customer Operations, DevOps Services, Platform Engineering, Platform Automation and Product Architecture. Within each role his focus has been on continual process improvement, leading change and innovation to provide better service to Contegix’ customers.

Previous to serving with Contegix, Solomon led the development and technical operations for a large two million member non-profit in the DC Metro area and ultimately chose Contegix to host their platform.

Solomon holds a Masters of Computer Science Applications from Virginia Tech and has 6 years of university classroom teaching experience where he taught over 1,000 students. In his spare time he composes music for the piano and lives on a small hobby farm with his family.

Shaun Jones, Vice President of Consulting at Contegix, is a seasoned technology executive with a primary focus on the public sector and strategic projects. His multifaceted role encompasses strategic responsibilities ranging from go-to-market strategies and business development to overseeing project delivery and engagement methodologies. In addition to leading public sector efforts, he holds the position of COO at Ascend Integrated – a cleared subsidiary of Contegix that handles specific DoD commitments.

Renowned for his exceptional work in propelling user-centric zero-trust initiatives forward, Shaun created the TrustStack Collaboration Platform and modernized launch efforts for Space Force range operations. Recognized for his forward-thinking approach, Shaun is a sought-after speaker for his insights on cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and collaboration software practices. His insights not only shape the discourse but also inspire actionable change within the cybersecurity and technology landscape.

Having previously served as an Army medical specialist, Shaun continues to dedicate part of his time to volunteering as a firefighter/medic, earning recognition for his commendable actions in the realms of fire and emergency medicine. An alumnus of the Virginia Military Institute and St. Anne’s College, Oxford University, Shaun now resides with his family in the suburbs of Washington D.C.

Joshua Shang is an accomplished business leader with over 15 years of experience in the financial services and technology industries. As the SVP of Professional Services at Contegix, he leads a proficient team of specialists specializing in digital and ITSM transformation. Joshua’s passion for steering strategic ventures that empower cross-functional teams and drive extraordinary customer value is palpable.

Known for his strategic acumen, he harnesses his profound expertise in Agile methodologies, ITIL practices, strategic business leadership, and transformative initiatives to aid enterprises in visualizing, navigating, and executing their digital and IT strategies. He stands as an exemplar of innovation, having orchestrated groundbreaking, scalable, and pioneering enterprise solutions and workflows.
